Sex and Videotapes

I was pretty surprised when my friend told me that he and his girlfriend sometimes tape themselves in bed. I asked him why they did it, and if they watched the tapes afterward. Matt (my friend's name) told me that the first time they taped themselves had been pretty spontaneous. They had a video camera that they use for other stuff. One night they were messing around when he looked up, saw the camera, and thought "Why not?". He asked his girlfriend, and she said she thought it was sort of exciting, so they set it up with a view of their bed and let it tape. He told me it feels a little like you're being watched during sex without the problems of possibly getting caught.

He and his girlfriend feel very naughty when they do this, which is part of the thrill. Also they feel very illicit after- ward that they are in control of the tape that no one else can watch.

Matt's girlfriend says that their sex is more passionate and more playful when they are taping it. She says that the feeling of having an audience is VERY exciting to her, and she finds everything they do together more stimulating. They both told me that they rarely, if ever, watch them afterward. They like the taping a lot, but aren't into watching it too much.

I asked her if they used plots or role playing when they taped, but she said usually they are too excited and would just "go for it" when they tape. She said it is almost like a sex game when they do it.

Here's a few tips I got from Matt on videotaping yourselves at home.

1- First off, always make sure EVERYBODY you're taping knows that you are taping, and that they're fine with that. Also make SURE that they're over 18 or you could end up in serious trouble.

2- Next, make sure that the camera is pointed and properly focused for the area where the action is going to take place. If your camera doesn't have auto focus or auto lighting, why not put a test object in the approximate area you're going to shoot and see how it looks. You can adjust your light and focus.

3- Now angle. If you're not sure what angle you would like to be shot at, try shooting slightly down at yourself without using the light on the camera.

4- Most video cameras can be hooked up to a TV so you can watch as you are having sex on camera. For people that like to watch themselves in mirrors, this is a really great way to see ALL of the action.

5- Another friend of ours that is also into videoing his exploits points out one more thing he feels is essential: the importance of properly labeling your tapes. You don't want your daughter or your mother in low watching your little home videos. Likewise you don't want your wife to grab your tape and carry it to show at a business proposal.

By the way, this other friend says he and his girlfriend DO watch the tapes. They are both into watching, not just being watched, and it really turns them on to watch themselves in action. He says it's great foreplay.

So if you feel like spicing up your love life, or you and your girlfriend like being watched but not being caught, this might be a fun way to add a little variety to your playtime. Just be careful what you do with the tapes - just remember Pam and Tommy!
